TechDev Newsletter - Market Update Issue #101

Local Tops and the Trades in Between

Two weeks ago the breakout landed on day 19 of the window, both majors closed green above their 3D Supertrends, and I told you to lock in. Since then the market has done the least dramatic thing it could do, and also the most useful: it has held the breakout and built a range directly on top of it. Bitcoin has spent the last two weeks between $77K and $82K, Ethereum between $2380 and $2530, and every dip has been bought before it could test anything that matters.

The formal reveal of the rebuilt TechDev platform needs one more two-week cycle. I explain what it is and why it is worth the wait near the end. Next issue is the launch.

Today’s issue is a short one by design. It is a focused update on Ethereum and Bitcoin, and exactly how I am playing the short term through the Ethereum ETF trades, including a minor revision to the Ethereum extension targets.

First, a note on membership pricing:

Two weeks ago I mentioned that membership pricing would rise for new members on August 30, from $29 to $39 monthly and from $249 to $329 annually, with everyone already subscribed grandfathered at their current rate. That increase did not go through, and I want to explain why.

The reasoning for the increase was the platform: the price was moving because what membership includes was about to grow. With the platform still in development, after further thought I decided it was better to wait for its release before increasing new membership rates.

When the increase does happen, the terms I published do not change either. It applies to new members only. If you are a paid member now, monthly or annual, your rate stays what it is for as long as you remain subscribed, and the platform is included in what you already pay. Nothing about your plan moves, then or now.
